About Jennifer.
Jennifer Layne Bhalla is a sound healer and IKYTA-certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher (200 hr), Yoga Alliance-registered Mystical Flow Teacher (200 hr based in Sivananda Hatha and Ashtanga Vinyasa) and former Living Yoga Trainee at Satchidananda Ashram in Yogaville, Virginia. She is trained in Tara Brach's mindfulness practice, The Power of Awareness and is currently accepted into her 2-year Mindfulness Meditation Teacher program.
Discovering kundalini yoga instantly fueled Jennifer's purpose as it showed her tools to quiet her highly active mind, calm her anxiety and cope with PTSD. She practiced under the guidance of senior teachers at Kundalini Yoga East, in the heart of Union Square in Manhattan. Her official teacher training programs were held at A Place to Breathe Yoga and Meditation Studio in Charlottesville, Virginia led by master trainer Darshan Kaur Khalsa and at Sacha Munay in Arin, Peru by School Yoga Institute led by Ganapati Pennell. Jennifer's sound healing training began under Edilma and Alfonso Avendano of Matiz Wellness in Laguna Niguel, California.
Her work as a community builder in the worlds of travel, philanthropy and entertainment has led her to working with The United Nations, The White House during the Obama Administration, Tedx, Social Media Week and many philanthropic and conscious organizations. She is currently working as a Mystical Yoga Teacher, Meditation and Mindfulness Guide in order to perpetuate a more peaceful reality, which begins within.
Jennifer is also an avid traveler and seeker who has discovered many sacred destinations across the world. She has taught on journeys cross-country, in studios on the East Coast, valleys of Peru, vortexes of Avalon in Glastonbury, and on the beaches of Southern California.
She currently resides outside of Washington, D.C. in Potomac, Maryland and is cultivating a women's wellness community called Goddess Embodied.
